China's HNA Buys Stake in Rio Airport
A subsidiary of China's Hainan Airlines (HNA) Group, has bought a 30% stake in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro International Airport.
According to Reuters' report, which cited a senior Brazilian government official, who confirmed the sale, said subsidiary of HNA bought a stake in Rio airport.
HNA Group is understood to have purchased the Brazilian engineering company Odebrecht SA which held shares in the airport. The airport’s minority shareholding was held by Brazil’s regulator of civil aviation infrastructure, Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil.
